Craft and Associates

Terry Craft has been the President of Craft & Associates since it began in 1989 as well as the reformed Collegiate Marketing which began doing business as a South Dakota corporation in 1981. J. Walter Farmer Advertising employed Terry as the company's Media Director from 1979-1981. In 1981 Terry founded Collegiate Marketing which he managed until the company was sold in 1986. From 1986-1989 he was employed as the President of Collegiate Marketing. Terry is a graduate of the University of South Dakota and has a communications degree with an emphasis in Advertising and Public Relations.

Debra Elofson has been the Political Director for Craft and Associates since 1996. She has a Masters degree in Political Science from the University of South Dakota and has worked in political campaigns in South Dakota for over 20 years. She began her career with then Congressman Tom Daschle in Washington, DC. She later worked for Congressman Tim Johnson and served as treasurer for both Pam Nelson and Jim Burg of the SD Public Utilities Commission. She's also worked for several non-profit agencies in South Dakota.

Nancy Keiser has been the Traffic Manager for Craft & Associates since 1995. From 1994-1995 Schieffer and Trimble employed her as a Legal Assistant. From 1987-1994 the State of South Dakota employed Nancy where she worked in Veterans Affairs as a claims examiner. She attended Black Hills State College in South Dakota

Jerrice Thorson has been the Art Director for Craft and Associates since 1998. Jerrice graduated from South Dakota State University in 1992 with a BS degree in advertising. Her experience is in animation and print media where she has won several national awards for creative excellence.

Tal McNeil a 12-year advertising agency veteran, has been a writer for Craft & Associates for since 1996. He has written a number of college radio and television commercials and has received over 200 awards for creative excellence. His work has been included in several trade publications, including The National Newspaper of Admissions Marketing as well as Print Magazine's Regional Design Annual.

Kristin Koch is a Novell Certified Internet Professional and has been the internet designer for Craft & Associates since 1998. Kristin has developed award winning websites for clients all over the United States. Kristin graduated from the University of South Dakota in 1997 with a BA in Communication with an emphasis in Electronic Broadcasting. After graduation, Kristin moved to London where she worked for Kinnersly Kent Design. Kristin is both a Novell certified web designer and a Novell certified internet business strategist.

Ted Gustafson has been the Assistant Art Director with Craft and Associates since January 2000. Ted majored in Photography at the University of South Dakota and has an Associate Degree in Graphic Design from Southeast Technical Institute. Before coming to Craft and Associates, Ted worked for Angel Prints in London. He is both a graphic designer and web designer/developer.

Lisa Groon is the Media Director for Craft and Associates. Lisa graduated from South Dakota State University in 1997 with a BA in advertising. Lisa has been a media buyer for companies including Prairie Fire Communications, West Corporation, and Lawrence & Schiller. Prior to media buying, worked as a sales assistant with KDLT-TV.

Jesse Murawski has been a graphic designer with Craft and Associates since his graduation from the University of South Dakota, where he majored in Fine Arts, with an emphasis in graphics.

Donna Thomsen is the A/R and A/P Accountant, and Media Assistant for Craft and Associates. Prior to this, she owned and operated her own Retail Clothing Store from 1978-1999 in Yankton, SD. Donna also worked at Yankton Rexall Drug in 2000 and 2001 until joining the Craft Team in October of 2001.

Dakota Video and Post, has been a production partner with Craft and Associates since 1997. Craft and Associates has preferred access to all production facilities for editing and sound, as well as commercial filming by Gary Goldade, one of South Dakotas premier videographers.
